Sometimes you get an idea in your head that you just cannot let go. This happened to me in the spring of 2020 while I was playing a game on the phone with my family and now the first prototype is live.

In one of our weekly videos, we got a question from Mike regarding trust. Specifically, how clients could measure trustworthiness in a business.
trust, trustworthiness, measure, business
This was an idea that popped into my 10-year-old sons’ head. "If I have the lowest price then everybody would want to buy from me". Here is the answer he got.

I'm a software developer who realized I needed to know more about how businesses works to deliver better solutions. Then I realized that the in order to develop businesses you really benefit from understanding the concepts in design thinking.
Software is mostly logic and business is very emotional. On this his is a place where I try to merge those concepts in an attempt to present them in a digestible way.
The goal is to let the information inspire you to continue diving deeper into the same topics I'm interested in but structured more like a Wiki-page then a regular blog.
Systems
I´m a programmer at heart and have been writing code since I was in my teens.
After working for everything from large coorperations to running my own I started to realize that I need to learn more about the other side, the client or user and focus more on the purpous of the system rather then completing a checklist of features.
Business
Building a business to be a more integrated part of your community, a way of helping out.
Most of the time you start with an idea and try to find a market, but often it is easier to find a market you want to serve and try to figure out that market need or want. This exploration is what make business so exciting.
Design
For a long time I thought that design had nothing to do with the success or quality of an application.
But even though your kids are not able to walk or talk when they are born, you love them just the same.
This makes design so facinating. If you like the style of an app, you can live with some functional flaws, but if it look like crap you avoid it even if it could solve all your needs.
Front IoT
This is where I spend the majority of my time, building, supporting and maintaining systems for our clients like
DSV, Carlsberg,
Blue Water Shipping and PEAB.
Most of them are in the logistics business and our systems vary from customer portals to tools managing internal processes.

I started in 2010 and have been working on serving clients as well as helping to improving the quality we deliver since then.
One of the main reasons I like this company is that they give me room to experiment and try my own ideas.
It seems to have been a positive experience for Klaus and Charlotte as well since they gave me a share of the business in 2019.
Citypolarna
Citypolarna is an event community platform that I
started together with Christian Altenius back in 2006.
The idea is that members post events and invite other members to join. Sounds simple, but there is a lot
going on under the hood.
Apart from being a quite successful pet project, Citypolarna has worked as a test bed for new features and ideas that have benefitted many of our customers at Front IoT. It is also here I can test new things I learn about like running a business, marketing and design.
